Scraps EP is live: on friday 19th of january 2024 my first solo ep ever (hahaha). The idea popped up in 2013 (again hahaha). It took a while right? I had to do something with tracks that layed around waiting for something to happen or were used for 1 thing and in my opinion deserved more. For instance the first track of the ep was a demo in 2005. It was supposed to go on a project that never happened. So on and so on. Finishing and making the ep ready was done in 2023.

The idea of Scraps

The idea of now knowing i can make Scraps 2,3… in the future is a good feeling. The most exiting thing about this was trying to make all these very different tracks come together as one EP. It worked out for me. This is TURNTABLE BEAT MUSIC. In all tracks the turntable and scratching had a very important role. All tracks were composed, recorded ,arranged and mixed by myself. Mastering was done by this great local mastering studio @clarity__sound. Thanx mister B!

Artwork is made by the local talent @heksr . In Dutch Scraps means “kliekjes, restjes” that was my idea to make this an ongoing project with no specific release date for the next one. @heksr heard the project and he made the comparison to “metal scraps”…so the outcome is that you have a kind of sheetmetal artwork made with metalscraps. Thanx to the LOCAL talents that helped out making it what it is. I appreciate that!
